Rule 26
Functions, Duties and Powers of Technical Advisory Committee
(1) The work, duties and rights of the Technical Consultative Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To review the procedure to be followed in conducting the technical examination,
(b) To evaluate the report received from the technical examiner,
(c) Taking feedback from the relevant ministry or central agency or department in relation to correcting the defects found in the technical test, reviewing the actions taken by those agencies,
(d) To give necessary suggestions to the Center to make the technical tests productive (e) advising the Center to revise the policy regarding technical testing,
(f) To monitor whether action has been taken by the relevant agency or public institution against officials, heads of projects and other employees of the central agency who do not cooperate in solving the problems identified by the technical test in relation to maintaining the quality of the project,
(G) Giving necessary advice regarding solving the problems encountered during technical testing (h) To provide necessary advice or suggestions on other matters deemed appropriate by the Center regarding technical testing.
(2) The technical testing and consultation committee may monitor any project while performing the tasks as per sub-rule (1).
(3) The Technical Testing Consultative Committee may form a sub-committee to carry out tasks of a specific nature and set the terms of reference of such sub-committee.
